About
Call 211 and speak with a Help Me Grow Onondaga Care Coordinator
Help Me Grow Onondaga is a key strategy of the Early Childhood Alliance that focuses on supporting parents and children so that all children can grow, develop, and thrive to their full potential.
Early detection and intervention are critical for optimal outcomes for children. Help Me Grow Onondaga addresses this by providing a centralized access point for information and referral, promoting surveillance and screenings, building collaboration among community programs, as well as educating and informing the community about child development.
Specifically, by calling 211, a Help Me Grow Onondaga Care Coordinator can help by:
- linking families and caregivers to information and community resources on child development and parenting;
- providing personalized connections to local services that meet individual need; and
- creating partnerships with human service agencies, educators, and health care professionals that strengthen families.
Call 211 and ask for Help Me Grow if you have concerns about your infant or toddler’s development. Help Me Grow can provide information and referrals to additional support. Talk one-on-one with a knowledgeable child development professional to help you determine community resources available to support you and your child.
Help Me Grow Onondaga is a partnership of the Early Childhood Alliance, Contact Community Services, 2-1-1, and the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York.
