Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired of Northern New York

Provides services for residents of Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties who are legally blind, have low vision, or are visually impaired. The agency recently opened a Vision Rehabilitation Center that provides prevocational training, an assistive technology lab for classes or personal use by clients, vision rehabilitation therapy, orientation and mobility, employment support, peer support groups, and an aids and appliance store with specialized items that can be purchased.

Eligibility: North Country residents who are legally blind,have low vision, or are visually impaired
