Weekday Respite and Recreation Program


Provides a drop-in center for short-term respite services for families with a developmentally disabled member. Offers temporary relief when the family faces an emergency, has formal business, or needs time for leisure or activities such as shopping, doctor appointments, or meetings.

Eligibility: Individuals who are developmentally disabled and reside within Jefferson County

Application Process: Referral / enrollment through a care coordination organization

Required Documentation: Proof of OPWDD eligibility
