Disaster Services


Provides food, clothing, and shelter for victims of local emergencies (e.g., house fires) and to victims of major disasters. A team of volunteers works with city/county officials and provides assistance on a 24-hour basis. After the initial emergency assistance, Red Cross may provide assistance with security deposit or first month's rent, as well as referrals to other community agencies. Also provides community disaster preparedness education.

Eligibility: Individuals in need as a result of a disaster-related emergency
