National Runaway Safeline (NRS), Lewis County


Offers crisis intervention for runaway and homeless youth in crisis throughout the United States. Provides support to parents and guardians with children who are at-risk or have already run away. Offers information and referral and conference calls for families. Provides free one-way bus tickets for runaway youth who wish to return home. Crisis email and live chat are also available.

Eligibility: Runaway or homeless youth and their families; bus tickets (Home Free): individuals ages 12 to 21 years who wish to return home - individuals under 18 must be returning to a parent or legal guardian; individuals between 18 and 21 may return to either family or a transitional living program
